Brandt Jewell is responsible for physician operations and positioning physician practices for successful growth and long-term stability. This includes enhancing practice efficiencies and strengthening the overall practice management team, as well as developing strategies and decision-making processes for the medical groups he manages.

Relevant Experience

• Served as Director and interim Practice Manager of the Sequoia Medical Group, a ten-physician primary care group associated with Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California, where he led process changes to create significant operational and financial improvements. The Group included both Family Practice and Internal Medicine specialties.

• Led strategic initiatives and managed process improvements for multiple departments and clinic locations within Mercy Medical Group, an integrated 200-physician multi-specialty group in Sacramento, California. He also coordinated and managed physician group acquisitions where he evaluated due diligence, developed pro-formas and business plans, and launched new clinic locations.

• As Investment Analyst for LCG Associates, Inc., he served on the investment consulting team for 15 institutional clients, with combined assets of $10 billion. He also helped evaluate top-tier management teams while preparing and developing investment strategies for senior level investment professionals.

• Prior to his work with LCG Associates, Jewell served in summer intern programs with the Nashville Capital Network, in which he performed research and evaluation of markets and investment opportunities and with Peachtree Planning/Pat Moore & Associates where he assisted with relationship development with high net worth clients and business prospects.
