Linda Torres-Webb, Vice President, Physician Operations

Linda Torres-Webb has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare management and operations. In her role with PivotHealth, Linda is responsible for the local physician practice operations within each Physician Services Company market. She installs and oversees practice management resources available to each PSC market to ensure excellence in financial reporting, dashboarding and physician practice consultations.


Relevant Experience

  • As Administrator PCC for Vanderbilt Medical Group of Franklin, Tennessee, she was responsible for all operational aspects of practice management for more than 40 providers, as well as Legal, Compliance, Purchasing, Space and Facilities, HR and Capital oversight.

  • Associate Chief Operating Officer for Vanderbilt Medical Group of Nashville, Tennessee, where she transitioned four community practices under a subsidiary of Vanderbilt University into Vanderbilt Medical Group. As part of this process Torres-Webb was responsible for all operational aspects including billing, support systems, strategic and facility planning and computer conversions.

  • Served as Administrator for Premier Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, P.L.C. of Nashville, Tennessee where she orchestrated all facets of the merger process, combining four separate practices into one. In this process she worked with consultants and steering committee to establish governance, created policies and procedures, reorganized personnel into new hierarchy as well as compliance with the state and federal employment regulations and OSHA.

  • As Assistant Coordinator/Supervisor O.R. Management with St. Thomas Hospital, a 571-bed facility which performed more than 11,000 surgical procedures annually, of Nashville, Tennessee, Torres-Webb was responsible for all non-clinical functions including purchasing, inventory control, implementation of computer systems, staffing, payroll, budget preparation and administration and fee-setting. She developed and implemented cost saving/revenue-enhancing ideas valued at more than $1 million annually as well as reduced inventory by over $200,000.
