RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Market Vice President, Physician Services for Vanguard Health Systems, a national for-profit healthcare provider which operates 15 acute care hospitals and complementary health care services, where he provided strategic direction and operational management for primary care and specialty physician practices, ancillary related services, facilities management, medical services components, and physician billing company.
   
• Served as Vice-President, Chief Administrative Officer for Health Directions, LLC, a provider of consulting services for large medical practices, hospital/health system owned physician practices and academic faculty practice plans. Coppola served as Interim CFO for a 50-provider Multi-Specialty Practice, co-managed engagement at a 42-provider practice where he reduced operating losses by $4 million, and led revenue cycle management at 250 FTE academic practices where he improved cash collection by $7 million in one year.
   
• As Director, Business Development with Advocate Trinity and Bethany Hospitals, Coppola led the development of the initial strategic plan for each institution.
