Dr. Gerbarg has 20 years of experience in medical leadership, including several senior level positions. In his role with PivotHealth, Dr. Gerbarg assists clients in improving medical leadership performance and overall medical management strategy, focus, and implementation. He is passionate about making sure organizations work on the key issues that will have the greatest impact on quality and financial performance.
 
 
 
 
 
 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Served as the Chief Operating Officer for CIGNA Healthcare of Arizona’s 240 physician multi-specialty group practice, where he was responsible for more than 1,600 employees.
   
• Consulted several large hospital systems, where he has served in interim senior management roles, overseeing a wide range of medical management issues such as utilization management and quality improvement.
   
• Led Board retreats for healthcare organizations, providing education for physicians on topics such as leadership and strategic planning. Recognized nationally as a speaker who has designed and delivered educational programs in leadership, strategic planning, managed care and quality improvement for thousands of physician executives, practicing physicians and healthcare administrators/professionals.
