Don Hicks possesses more than 25 years of experience in both hospital and physician management and is recognized nationally as a leader in healthcare management. His experience includes strategic planning, business planning, ambulatory care services, physician group management and compensation planning. Hicks has a successful track record in the creation and implementation of new management models in response to ever-changing needs within the healthcare market place.
 
 
 
 
 
 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Formerly served as Vice President with Health Directions Consulting, where he worked with physician groups and hospitals to address issues in MSO management, physician compensation and revenue cycle management.
   
• Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Integrated Management Services, where he managed more than 80 physicians and 350 healthcare and administrative employees for one of Arizona’s largest medical practice groups.
   
• Served as Senior Associate Director of Business Development with UCI Medical Center in Orange, California, where his senior administrative marketing responsibilities included managed care contracting, strategic planning, marketing and business planning.
   
• As Vice President of Marketing and Development with St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, California, he was responsible for managed care services, primary care network services, marketing, strategic planning, political affairs and public relations.
