Joan Koransky possesses 25 years of experience in healthcare management, including extensive capabilities in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Operations Management and Executive Education. She was an early pioneer and visionary in the Southern California managed care marketplace, providing leadership to new and mature IPA’s, Medical Groups, Hospitals, Hospital Systems and Community Clinics. In the boardroom and in the trenches, she works closely with clients, building business scenarios that drive profitable, meaningful and sustainable results.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Currently, President of JBK & Associates, Inc., a firm that offers customized strategic healthcare consulting, specializing in managed care initiatives. Results oriented, she has provided strategic and operational support to some of the largest and most successful managed care organizations in Southern California.
   
• As the Director of Physician Services at Saint Joseph Hospital in Orange, California, she was responsible for the initial development and ongoing leadership of a newly created Managed Care Services Division, an organization that became one of the largest and most respected entities in Southern California.
   
• Served in management positions with American Medical International, Inc. in Southern California Hospital and for the Corporate Outpatient Surgery Centers Subsidiary.
