Robin Wallace has more than 18 years of hands-on experience in providing medical practice/clinic management and consulting. She specializes in providing physicians and other health care professionals with guidance in the areas of practice development and administration, accounts receivable management, compliance program development, computer selection and conversion, payer and IPA contract negotiation, and staffing allocation and development. She also provides expert advice to Graduate Medical Education Programs and sponsoring institutions to help maintain or regain their ACGME accreditation.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Through the provision of interim management, Ms. Wallace has assisted numerous health care organizations; IPA and MSO clients around the country stabilize, recover and expand their financial position by restructuring their office operations. She is skilled at developing and implementing enhanced workflow systems, training tools, and staffing protocols that fortify an organization's infrastructure and effectively resolve performance issues.
- Speaker for the American Academy of Medical Management, as well as a contributing author for MGMA’s publications and the recently published book, Medical Group Management: Strategies for Enhancing Performance (Revenue Cycle Management).
- Proven knowledge of changing legislation impacting health care and reimbursement has making her a valuable resource on reimbursement and compliance issues.
- Provided regional physician consulting to a nationwide healthcare system for practice start-up, recruiting and physician integration strategies.
