The specialist that receives the data consults with the treating doctor, makes an analysis, diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. •  Remote monitoring (home health telemedicine) – This is using technology to monitor patients at home. It can be used to assure that chronic conditions are receiving appropriate care. The patient’s vital signs can be monitored and transmitted to a medical facility to determine if the statistics merit any medical action.
